Serbia: EPS to invest 7.6 million euros in new substation in Belgrade

Acting Director of Serbian state-owned power utility EPS Milorad Grcic said that the company will invest a total of 7.6 million euros in the construction of a new substation Belgrade 23 that will improve the supply of several urban municipalities in the capital. It is expected that the construction will be completed in August this year.

Grcic pointed out that substation Beograd 23 will be a part of the energy ring which would increase the flexibility of management and maintenance of electricity distribution network in the wider Belgrade area.

Earlier in January, EPS has started construction of two new substations in Serbia, 3 million euros worth 110/20 kV substation in Arandjelovac and 2 million euros worth substation in Ub.
