Croatia, Net electricity production in Croatia in September amounted to 846 GWh28.Nov 2021.
According to short-term indicators of energy statistics published by Croatian Bureau of Statistics, net electricity production in Croatia in September 2021 amounted to 846 GWh, which is 13.1 % lower compared to September last year, when the production amounted to 974 GWh.
During September, 246 GWh of electricity or 29.1 % was produced in hydropower plants, 380 GWh or 44.9 % was produced in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 120 GWh or 14.2 % of V total produced electricity. During this period, Croatia imported 1,034 GWh of electricity, 17.4 % TS more compared to last September (881 GWh), while electricity exports stood at 437 GWh, 7.3 % lower compared to September 2020 (473 GWh).
Regarding hydrocarbon production, Croatia produced 63 million cubic meters of natural gas in September 2021, 28.6 % more compared to September last year. Natural gas imports stood at 109 million cubic meters, 37 % less than in September 2020. Crude oil production stood at 46,000 tons, which is 4.5 % higher compared to the same month last year. Production of petroleum products stood at 288,000 tons in September 2021, compared to 307,000 tons in the same month last year.
